Cardew Design Novelty Teapots
There can be no doubt Paul CardewTeapots are among the most beautiful in the world, but don't just take them at face value. Only the finest clay, underglaze and lustres make it into the posession of their handcraft production team, who use age-old skills to devastatingly beautiful effect
The space themed teapot were difficult to make which is why so few were made before Paul stopped making them alltogether. The design of the teapot made it very difficult to remove them from the kiln. The few that did survive may have a slight imperfection on the bottom that is only visable if you turn the teapot upside down and look at the bottom.
